Are you a professional artist? A student? Or someone who loves art? Whatever your interests, whatever your skills, the St. Louis Artists' Guild has a class or program for you. Learn from professionals in watercolor, oils, acrylics, pastels, sculpture, photography, printmaking, color theory, and fine crafts. It is a great place to meet wonderful people and expand your artistic knowledge. The St. Louis Artists’ Guild is a resource and advocate for creative expression. In addition to serving the Midwest as a center that exhibits, supports and promotes the visual arts, it also sponsors and conducts community service programs. The Education & Outreach Committee meets the mission of the Guild by: Education To Promote: promotes creative expression; provides an introduction to art to new audiences; provides opportunities for visitors to “turn on” to a wide variety of media, methods, and ideas of art; and provides art-related experiences that are meaningful. Education To Support: supports creative expression; provides artistic development; provides art fulfillment. Education To Exhibit: opportunities exist for class participants
and teachers to exhibit their work in a public venue; classes and
special events tied to exhibitions serve to permit audiences to
better experience and interpret the exhibits. |
