Indonesian Study Abroad Program 2010

We're going to Indonesia! Want to come with us?

The St. Louis Artists' Guild is taking the lead in a collaboration between the Artists' Guild, the Indonesian Consulate General in Chicago and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Washington, D.C., and ArtDimensions, to initiate an Indonesian study-abroad program for artists. The trip to Indonesia will be for a seventeen-day period in November 2010. While in Indonesia, these artists will immerse themselves in the country's rich culture to create work inspired by Indonesian art and design, culminating in an art exhibition in one of Jakarta's top galleries. This cultural exchange will be a valuable opportunity for both countries to learn more about each other's arts and culture, and to strengthen international bonds. »Read more...
