Bryan Robertson holds an MFA in painting and drawing with distinction from the University of Washington, Seattle. He has held solo exhibitions in both commercial and non-profit spaces in St. Louis and Seattle, including the University City Library Gallery, St. Louis, MO; the Cathy Gregory Studio Gallery, St. Louis, MO; and the Parc Condominiums, Seattle, WA. Recent national juried shows include: "Open Source," (2018), Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LACDA), Los Angeles, CA; "People's Choice Salon Show," (2018), Greenpoint Gallery, New York NY; "Predictions and Perceptions," (2017), Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts, Palmer Lake, Colorado; and "Luck of the Draw," (2017), The Foundry Art Center, St. Charles, Missouri.
Robertson has exhibited and presented his work at national academic conferences including, the 2018 College Art Association Conference in Los Angles (poster presentation), the 2019 College Art Association Conference in New York (paper presentation), and the 2019 Foundations in Art: Theory and Education (FATE) biennial conference at the Columbus College of Art and Design (workshop).
Robertson's work has been published locally in the UMSL Daily Magazine, the Visual Arts Quarterly of St. Louis, and the Ladue News, with national publications in Studio Visit Magazine (Volume 33), and 3Elements Literary Review. In addition to teaching painting at the STLAG, Robertson is an Adjunct Instructor of drawing at Jefferson College (Hillsboro, MO), and Lindenwood University (St. Charles, MO).
