This is going to be a fascinating meeting. Dr. Elizabeth Horton, station archaeologist at Toltec Mounds, Archaeological State Park, Scott, Arkansas, will talk about ancient fibers and baskets from pre-historic Native Americans in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, focusing on what these ancient peoples wore, what plants they used to create clothing and what were the social roles of textiles and basketry.
