7 weeks | Wednesdays 9:30am - 12:30pm | September 19-October 31
Have you ever wondered what makes a talented artist go beyond being good to “better?” Intermediate Watercolor explores challenges beyond familiarity with colors, brushes, papers, techniques and color triads. Light, color and design theories are more about the brain than the brush. Break out of your limitations and mental blocks. We will use both the left and the right sides of our brains while pushing ourselves to new levels of creativity, whether it is inserting figures into a painting or using a new palette of colors.
Supplies: paints, brushes, papers, and supplies that you already have and use. (Things I like to use that might not be in your list of "invaluables". They are suggestions, not demands: Small white "nut" dishes for mixing deepest values of paints. Spray bottle, 3 water containers, tissues, towel, 2 sheets Arches 140CP, plexiglass support for papers not bigger than 12" X 16", white artist's tape or blue masking tape.)
Members: $130 | Non Members: $160
