Free Family Saturdays (every Saturday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm)

Nothing But Flowers: During the month of May, we will celebrate the power of the flowers in art and daily life.

May 4- Let's discover the method Andy Warhol used to make his flowers pop. Make a print and help us paint a mural for our Jackson Avenue window.\

May 11- Paint a small flowerpot and choose a flower for someone special.

May 18- We will create up-cycled artwork inspired by the inventive plant-like sculptures of STLAG member Eldon Benz

May 25 -Help us assemble a still- life with flowers and create a symbolic artwork.

Collagraph and Stencils: a Perfect Pairing

In this workshop we will use a variety of stencils: store bought stencils, hand cut or machine cut stencils and found items with textures to create a collagraph plate.


Please bring any stencils of your own that you might wish to use as well as textured found items, and paper. Ink is provided. $10 cash at the door.

Tuesday Night Figure Drawing

Every Tuesday the St. Louis Artists' Guild hosts a figure drawing group at 6pm. Model Fee is $10


 

Photography Section

The Photo section of the St. Louis Artists' Guild meets the First Wednesday of every other month, at 7 PM. We invite everyone to attend our meetings. We share our Photographic secrets and skills freely. The Fibers Section meets 4 times a year and features events for fiber artists or anyone interested in fiber arts. The next event with artist Kristen Winter on April 3, 2019, this section always starts at 6:30pm and goes to 8:30pm

The St. Louis Artists' Guild offers open studios every Friday and by appointment to members and currently enrolled students.
