The St. Louis Artists' Guild hosts a variety of special events, gallery talks, and lectures throughout the year, including music concerts, plays, and our annual fundraiser Collectors Choice.

Celebrate A Thirteen Squared Fundraiser for the St. Louis Artists’ Guild

Sunday, May 19th the fun starts at 4 pm

This fundraising exhibit is organized by THIRTEEN SQUARED, a group of diverse St. Louis women artists who collaborate to support the visual arts in St. Louis. The exhibit will include donated work in paintings, drawings, collages, and more! Light refreshments will be served. On May 19th the fun begins with the exhibit preview at 3pm. At 4pm, everyone in attendance will gather in the center of the room. When the whistle blows, attendees will select the work they have chosen to purchase, remove it from the wall, pay for it, and take it home! Each piece is $50. All proceeds go to the St. Louis Artists’ Guild.

Each piece of art must be in an 8x8 inch square wall-hung format in the medium of the artist’s choice. All work needs to be gallery ready with wire on the back to hang. 

Frames may be larger than 8” x 8”. Sculpture work may be submitted as long as the piece is within the 8” x 8” size perimeters and will fit on a floating shelf or small pedestal.

Each piece of art is to be completed, ready to hang, and delivered to the St. Louis Artists’ Guild, 12 N Jackson Ave, St. Louis, MO (Corner of Forsyth and Jackson) between the May 3 through the 15, 2024 during normal business hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.

POSED

Posed is a live drawing and painting event in the gallery where regional artists come together to work from two models draped en scene. The goal of this event is to provide a space for artists to hone their skills in a collaborative environment. This event takes place in the STLAG gallery, so the public is welcome to walk through our gallery space and catch the artists in action.

Artists who wish to participate in the event are encouraged to register prior to the event to secure a spot. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. There is a $20 artist registration fee which goes towards model fees.
