Administrative/Office Volunteer

The administrative/office volunteer may help with answering the phone, data entry, filing, photocopying, and shredding. Help assemble materials for members, donors, and board members. Assist with mailings and the distribution of materials.

 

Education Volunteer

As an education volunteer, you will the assist the education coordinator in maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom area and art supply cabinets. In addition, you may assist in returning class inquiring phone calls, prepare class lists for instructors, notify students of class status, email supply list and parking passes, and help develop data on the education program.

 

Exhibition Volunteer

An exhibition volunteer may assist the exhibition coordinator with a variety of duties: correspondence with artists, review submissions for guideline adherence, receive the artwork, packing and shipping, cleaning and preparing the gallery, installing and hanging artwork, and managing the tool room.

 

Events/Hospitality

Our event/hospitality volunteers create a welcoming environment for guests during functions at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild including exhibition openings and fundraisers. Volunteers may assist with the set-up of refreshments and preparation the day of the event.

 

Facility/Maintenance

A facility volunteer may help with patching and painting, cleaning, small construction projects, changing light bulbs, and generally keeping the STLAG spruced up!
