As the oldest arts organization west of the Mississippi, the St. Louis Artists' Guild has maintained a robust exhibition program, since 1886. Currently, located in an old Famous-Barr department store our contemporary gallery space boasts 20-foot ceilings and over 5,000 square feet of exhibition space. We provide opportunities for juried, solo, and small group exhibitions that are always free and open to the public.

Beginning Watercolor Summer Workshop with Barbara Di Martini

Tuesday, June 5th thru Friday, June 8th from 9am to 3pm (lunch break from 12-1)

Come and enjoy 4 days of instruction, demonstrations and painting.  This workshop is designed to introduce students to the theories and techniques of watercolor. Students will receive a solid foundation in painting preparation, value studies, color and light theory, brushing techniques, as well as basic understanding of composition. Register Here

Trans-Tribal: Sculptural Objects with Sun Smith-Foret

Sun Smith-Foret will lead a hands-on workshop that explores the materials and ideas behind her current studio practice which is inspired by global contemporary basketry and non-Western tribal art forms, both functional and ritualistic objects.
