Abstract Collage Workshop

July 25, 2026

Saturday, 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Instructor: Paola Scharberg

16+

Create a non-representational collage by using colors, shapes, and forms. In this class we will focus on the emotional message of the art instead of creating depictions of reality. Students will learn to use a precision knife and will have the opportunity to combine paper with other techniques such as drawing. They will learn how to combine and layer materials to create a piece focused on self-expression and emotions.

This class is for all artistic levels and no prior experience is required.

All materials are included in the cost of the workshop, but students are encouraged to bring any material they would like to collage with ex: photos, magazines, printed materials, drawings, books, portraits, colored/textured paper.

We will take a 30 minute break around noon, bring a snack!

$65 Members | $90 Non-Members

If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee per course registration.
