Architectural Landscape Painting in Watercolor

This 4-week course is designed to help students build a strong foundation in watercolor landscape painting, with special attention to architectural elements within the landscape. We will explore how buildings, streets, and structural forms interact with light, atmosphere, and natural surroundings.
Students will learn how to:
Work with flat, graded, and atmospheric washes
Control water, pigment, and timing
Create depth and mood in landscape scenes
Simplify complex views into clear shapes and values
Paint architectural elements with structure, perspective, and harmony within the landscape
The course is suitable for beginners and intermediate students who want to strengthen their understanding of watercolor and gain confidence painting landscapes that include architectural subjects.

$100 Members | $150 Non-Members
If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee per course registration.
