Birth Flower Watercolor Workshop

July 18 and 19, 2026

Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Have you heard of a birth flower? Similar to gemstones, each month has a corresponding birth flower or flowers, often tied to the season when they bloom.

Over the course of two days, students will learn how to paint their birth flower and an arrangement of flowers unique to the birth month of loved ones. Referencing photographs, students will learn how to create depth using a series of washes, line thicknesses and color intensity.

Beginners and students with more watercolor experience are both welcome. Andrea will provide step-by-step instruction on painting various flowers, as well as templates that can be used for drawing.

If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee per course registration.
