Conquering Complexities in Watercolor
July 27 - August 10, 2026
Mondays, 3 weeks, 6-8:30PM
Instructor: Emily Dustman
Maria Sibylla Merian said, “Art and nature shall always be wrestling until they eventually conquer one another so that the victory is the same stroke and line: that which is conquered, conquers at the same time.” This class is designed for students with a basic understanding of watercolor painting who want to develop their skillset further. You will be taught new techniques as you study forms, focusing on composition, color awareness, techniques for capturing light, and working through mishaps that can occur when painting. Students will create a final life-like painting.
Skill Level: All levels welcome, but individuals should have a basic understanding of watercolors.
See material list for required supplies.
Member $115 | Non-member $165
