Drawing the Landscape: 2-Day Intensive Workshop
June 3 & 4, 2026
Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Instructor: Mel Tychonievich
Drawing the Landscape is a condensed, immersive workshop designed for artists of all levels. Over two days, students will explore foundational concepts of composition, value, and color through landscape drawing. Working from photographic references, students will learn how to translate observed imagery into dynamic drawings, emphasizing structure, light, atmosphere, and color relationships.
Day one focuses on grayscale chiaroscuro to develop a strong understanding of value and form, while day two builds upon that foundation through the introduction of color.
See material list for required supplies.
Member $150 | Non-member $200
