How to build your artist website - Workshop

May 25, 2024, 10 am - 4 pm

Ages 18+

(1 spot left for this session)

Join us on Saturday, May 25, in the gallery to learn how to build a simple website for submitting to the St. Louis Artists’ Guild Call for Proposals. Zackary Petot will lead artists using Imcreator, a free website hosting platform, to build a homepage, a gallery page, and an about page for your artist’s website. Other details will be covered briefly in the workshop on adding extra features to your website, but the main goal is to create a simple 3-page website for artists to submit to our call for proposals.

If you have a domain name, that is great. If not, we will cover how to obtain one for your website. Domain names can cost anywhere from $2 to $20 per year. Hosting your website will be free through Imcreator as an artist. Other platforms can be used to build your website, but hosting may cost more.
