Intro to collage is a class for anyone interested in learning about collage. Collage is art made from other images and materials. Students will learn about different collage techniques, styles, materials, and composition. In this class we will briefly go over the history of collage and some of the most influential artists. This class is open to anyone interested in learning about collage or wanting to further their knowledge in the medium. Attendees will have time to create their own art and the opportunity to discuss their work.
All materials are included in the cost of the workshop, but students are encouraged to bring any material they would like to collage with ex: photos, magazines, printed materials, drawings.
We will take a 30 minute break around noon, bring a snack!
