Landscape Painting in Watercolor

4 weeks, Wednesdays, 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

This 4-week course is designed to help students build foundation in watercolor landscape painting. The main emphasis will be on basic washes and essential watercolor techniques specifically for landscapes. 

Students will learn how to:

  • Work with flat, graded, and atmospheric washes

  • Control water, pigment, and timing

  • Create depth and mood in landscape scenes

  • Simplify complex scenes into clear shapes and values

  • Paint skies, land, and distant elements with confidence

The course is suitable for beginners and intermediate students who want to better understand watercolor as a medium and gain confidence painting landscapes.

$100 Members | $150 Non-Members

If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee per course registration.
