Mycological Illustration (Mushrooms) Workshop

October 17 & 18, 2026

Saturday and Sunday, 10AM - 2PM

Instructor: May Jernigan

Learn about fungi during this 2-day workshop, covering everything mushroom! Students will produce a botanical plate style artwork, depicting different mushroom views and learning about their anatomical structure. Drawing techniques, composition, and watercolor will be covered during this workshop. If you have a preferred mushroom subject, you are welcome to focus on that in class, otherwise the instructor will provide mushroom reference materials.
