September 13 and 14, 2025

2 days, Saturday/Sunday, 10am-1PM

Instructor: Byron Rogers

Ages: 16+

This two day hands-on workshop will introduce you to the basics of reduction relief printing. This beginner printmakers workshop is an exploration in creating a multicolor print. Students will use a still life as their source image, to create a 5x7 inch linoleum plate using the reduction block method to create a two to three color print. Students will learn techniques in how to register your plate and paper to line up your work to get best results.

Students should come prepared with images/photos of still life setups they would like to turn into a print! Please use two to three simple objects for still lives; bottles, cups, bowls, plates, fruit, etc.

All materials will be provided, students must provide their own source image
