SAINT LOUIS ART MUSEUM: 1 Fine Arts Drive, Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110
Guild Members Only
Join us for a guided tour at the Saint Louis Art Museum led by a museum docent, Contessa Smith, who is also a member of STLAG!
This tour is inspired by STLAG’s current exhibition, A Quiet Composition. This will be an opportunity to focus on engaging with abstract pieces from SLAM’s collection, using meditative practices and art-making to create an experience that centers stillness, observation, and being present.
Guild members are encouraged to bring their sketchbooks and pencils! (Some drawing materials will be available on-site. However, please note that the museum prohibits the use of pens, markers, charcoal, and other materials that could stain while touring the galleries.)
This hour long walking tour will take us through multiple sections of the museum, wear comfy shoes! We will meet in the main lobby/sculpture hall of the museum, located inside the entrance that is across from the King Louis IX statue outside. We will meet at 10:45am, and the tour will begin at 11am.
This tour is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP through the form below.
Each individual must sign up separately. If multiple people are attending, please fill out the form below for EACH person.
