Join us for a guided tour at the Saint Louis Art Museum led by a museum docent, Contessa Smith, who is also a member of STLAG!
Join us for a guided tour inspired by STLAG's All Colors exhibition! We'll draw on the themes and ideas exhibiting artists from All Colors explored and connect them to SLAM's collection. We will be engaging with the works of African-American artists, dicussing various artistic techniques and decisions, and honoring their contributions to art history and present, including their tangible impacts on the Saint Louis community and beyond.
This hour long walking tour will take us through multiple sections of the museum, wear comfy shoes! We will meet in the main lobby/sculpture hall of the museum, located inside the entrance that is across from the King Louis IX statue outside. We will meet at 10:45am, and the tour will begin at 11am.
