The Figure in Contour Lines

5 Weeks, Mondays, 6-8:30PM

In this class, students of all skill levels will explore figure drawing techniques expressed exclusively in contour lines. By stripping shade and light from our drawings, we will strive to understand volume and space linearly. Each week, the class will engage in discussions on sight size measurement tools, basic anatomy, cross contour, and other methods relating to expressing the live figure in contour lines. Having previous figure drawing experience is helpful in this class but not required.

Ages 18+ The model for this course will be nude. A parent/guardian must sign a waiver to allow any minor to take the course. If you are registering a minor, please contact the Education Coordinator to request a waiver.

$150 Members | $200 Non-Members

If you must cancel, please email (info@stlouisartistsguild.org) or call STLAG. A refund will be given only if cancellation occurs seven days prior to the first day of class. No exceptions. Refunds will be processed minus a $25 withdrawal fee.
