Chinese Brush Painting
March 28, 2026
Saturday, 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Instructor: Ping Yan
In this workshop, students will learn to use brush, ink, and watercolor in the authentic Chinese style to paint traditional subjects such as pandas, bamboo, birds, and flowers. Specifically, as this is the Year of the Horse based on the Chinese zodiac, students may also learn how to paint a horse and write the character for "horse" in Chinese.
Participants will experience how different shades of black ink mixed with colors can create the magic harmony of yin and yang, tranquility, and wonder. Attendees will enjoy the spontaneity, simplicity, and creativity of the medium and its deep philosophical meaning.
All materials included in the cost of the workshop
Member $75 | Non - Member $100
